Community Soccer (EMSA)
WCL is proud to partner with Edmonton West Zone Soccer Association (EMSA West), who support and encourage children to be active and develop skills, while creating memories. We offer indoor and outdoor soccer for ages 4 to 19. Join a team and hone your skills or become a coach and take advantage of coach development and training courses.
Outdoor Soccer usually begins the first week of May and ends late June, except for teams proceeding to post season play (U11 to U19) who may play into July and August.
Indoor Soccer is played at indoor soccer facilities within Edmonton and the surrounding area. Game days are on weekends. Practice time is scheduled throughout the season. The indoor soccer season runs from mid-October until mid-February.

OUTDOOR SOCCER REGISTRATION 2024
ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENS February 1 – March 12*
REGISTRATION
To register, please visit the EMSA website at www.emsasoccerportal.com. Payment may be made online via credit card until March 12, or in person via cash or cheque. If you need to make alternative payment arrangements, please contact Kelly at soccer2.wcl@gmail.com. It's important to note that online credit card payment will not be available after March 12.
Please keep in mind that players will not be considered registered until they have paid their fees or have made payment arrangements. Unfortunately, we are unable to reserve spots on a team.
Tentative start of season is May 1 until the end of June.
PAYMENT

Cheque #1 - Registration Fees (if not paying online)
Cheque #2 - $50 uniform deposit postdated May 1, 2024 (mandatory for U9–U19 only)
To drop off your fees, please send an email to soccer2.wcl@gmail.com. The mandatory uniform deposit drop off is scheduled for April 4 between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm at the Westmount Community Hall, located at 10978–127 Street. Please note that you will not receive a uniform until you have paid the deposit.
COMMUNITY LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP
A valid Community League membership is required for registration. Memberships bought for Indoor Soccer are still valid for Outdoor season. Purchase your membership online at www.efcl.org/memberships or at the Westmount Fitness Centre 12840–109 Avenue (cheque only).
FUNDING
Kidsport and Jumpstart applications are done online directly with KidSport and Jumpstart.
A copy of your registration is needed as proof for your application.
