Free, drop-in program run by the City of Edmonton. Designed around movement, participation and fun! Play games to enhance speed, agility and control.
LITTLE SKATERS CLUB
Saturdays 10:30am - 12pm
Officially starting December 21, Little Skaters is a free, drop-in, low-key skating time. We start with a few games each week, for those little ones wishing to participate and just have fun. Skate for an hour and then finish off in the skate shack to warm up with hot chocolate and a snack. Snacks are a sign-up rotation.
(Parent's expected to stay with their kids on the ice)
All ladies and experience levels welcome. Bring a stick if you have one and and extra if you have one to spare.
Please show skate tags that come with your community league membership before using the skating rink.
Please respect your fellow skaters and the rink schedule.
Help take care of the ice and rink by shovelling snow with snow shovels provided and using the garbage containers provided.
Rink Shack is open Mon-Fri from approximately 4:00pm – 9:30pm, Sat-Sun 10:00am- 9:30pm. Ice lights are on from 5:00pm - 10:00pm.
Remember: Please wear helmets when skating.
When skating at this rink, you have agreed to skate at your own risk.
The rink may be closed intermittently for maintenance.
A volunteer organizer may not be on hand for youth shinny. Those times are, nonetheless, set aside for youth who wish to play.
Little Skaters consists of fun, volunteer-led activities that encourage young children to learn skating basics.
